Membership Consultants has been honored to serve the Denver Zoo with its 2004-2009 membership acquisition campaigns. With each new campaign, the results have gotten better and better, even in this economy – proving the value of continuity, testing, tracking, analysis and continual improvement that our partnership provides. The Denver Zoo’s 2009 campaign surpassed records for the institution, generating a whopping 2.23% response rate, and results after a match-back were even greater. Match-backs track people who received the mailing but responded online, by phone or joining on site. The costs were well contained, enabling a $2.35 return on investment, almost unheard of for membership acquisition direct mail. Kudos!
